(2022) There are 25+ US-funded biolabs in Ukraine

Over 20 years ago, I heard an account from a WW2 vet that was in Patton’s 3rd Army. A German position, housing a DuPont facility storing chemical munitions from the First World War, was in the path of the advance across France. As the US Army neared the town, an enemy staff car with a white flag approached the American forces and warned them about the munitions. The German officer offered to withdraw and surrender the town in order to prevent a battle and an accidental release of the chemicals. The town was abandoned by the Germans and the site was secured. If this story is true, then even in WW2 the combatants knew the dangers of an accidental release of a deadly, indiscriminate airborne weapon. Will today’s combatants, on all sides, have the same wisdom?
